180. Progress
For Misteline.
My progress:
- The government seem to accept that I am a bit disabled; I will be pointing out the ways in which I am more disabled than that, according to their own guidelines.
- I am growing more vegetables; I have joined Folia, because it is like Ravelry but for growing things. I invite you. We can spy on each others’ plants and swap seeds!
- I have ordered some fancy noise-cancelling headphones in the hope that they will help me to stay focused in busy environments.
There is more to be done in order to sort my life out, but hey. Little steps.
I’m getting a Catch 22 vibe from the DLA stuff now – if you’re able to ask for help, you don’t need it.
That is a pretty excellent summary. *sigh*
It’s a bit of a bugger; my ability to apply and appeal is (as a friend mentioned recently) a symptom of my disability. I am outrageously good at some quite difficult things, but fail spectacularly at some pretty basic things. So the fact that I can write lots of eloquent letters about my disability might be throwing them a little bit. :/
Yay! I can’t believe I missed this for this long! Durn you exams, getting in between me and the things that really matter… 😀
And progress is just little steps which eventually lead to big things. Hopefully big wonderful things. Like your beanstalk, which is lovely.
It’s flowering! Soon there will be peas! 🙂
