I bought it from a charity shop and improved it. It’s a bit like the way I draw on photographs, except I drew on a mug instead. There may be signs of former use in crockery items, and I will photograph them and show them in listings if I find them. There will be no chips or signs of breakage in a former life unless I think the item is improved by them; I will photograph those too.
I drew on the mug with porcelain pens, so the added markings are dishwasher safe. This mug *seems* to be dishwasher safe, but I don’t know how to tell for sure.

do you think it’s microwave-safe? are you planning to make more of them? If so, I’m interested in an order of about 5-10 of them. If you’re located in UK, we could either arrange the expedition to his workplace when he comes for work or we’ll have to ship it in Italy(option1 better…we’re kinda pennyless ATM, but we have polyamorous-merchandise compulsive shopping! 😛 ) . We want to collect a few poly-queer related items to use them at our local poly events, where we offer hot tea and support to poly-folks. (also, let us know if you’re ever gonna make other stuff, like glass mats and the like). OR we could donate you some money via paypal for , let’s say, a license to print them on our own. (i really don’t know how licenses work, and i’m afraid it shows)
i meant to my boyfriend’s* place, sorry.
Hello, Beagatta. 🙂
Whether or not the mugs are microwave-safe is down to each individual mug, and sometimes you can’t tell by looking. They’re all second-hand, and each one is different. However, I will double-check them and edit the original listings, and I’ll include information about whether new mugs are microwave-safe, too. It’s a good idea, so thanks for asking.
As for buying many mugs, that is very awesome that you want to buy lots of mugs! (Thank you!) However, I can’t take on custom jobs reliably. There are three mugs left, totalling £26 before postage, so if you want to order them and have them sent to your boyfriend’s UK base then I’ll just charge you £23 (including postage) and you can have them all in one go – email me at lotte dot lodge at gmail dot com and I’ll send you an invoice.
Aside from that I’m afraid I can’t promise when I’ll next be making mugs.
