A while back, I wrote http://www.freedeedpoll.org.uk/, which makes changing your name in the UK by Deed Poll (for free) really, really easy. It’s a little like the other free services out there, but it isn’t covered with adverts, doesn’t require you to surrender your email address, and doesn’t password-protect your PDF (which were all things that bugged me, so I made a “better” one). Give it a go!
Thank you! I really love that. For all intents and purposes Oscelot IS my name, just not “legally”. It seems to confuse people, but fortunately not the ones in my extended circles seeing as I mostly hang out with furries.

Love it! and can relate, too. I hate when I gather with family for holidays and my little nieces call me by my childhood name. Bleh.
This so much this.
I want to have your babies.
Sounds good – we can call them Placeholder. 😀

Also: I’m loving your comic!

My parents gave me a serial number from an old steam ship for the frist few days of my life until they settled on a name.
