My autochorissexual (http://asexuals.wikia.com/wiki/Autochorissexual) response is to that is, “That is some nice sexual energy they are sending at me. Is there some way I can appreciate that energy without having sex with them?”
Note: I don’t actually like the word autochorissexual (hard to pronounce, hard to remember + the meaning of the word does not effectively connect to the experience). If anyone has alternatives I’d love to hear them.
I tried to start a conversation about that in a different forum, but a bunch of people jumped in to rant about how there are too many labels and shut down the conversation. The one thing I did glean from that conversation is that there is a broader category of libidinist asexuals that this term would (mostly) fit into. It doesn’t carry all of the nuance that this one has, but as far as a term to communicate with others it has multiple benefits (pronounce-ability, the label and the meaning have a clear connection).
But I spent hours picking the perfect shade 🙁
note to self: when dating someone who´s asexual, don´t bother spending money on fancy undies, invest into yummy cakes instead 😉
“In sexy underoos” made me laugh more than thinking about cake frosting… I’m even stranger than I thought. <3
That second panel is exactly my reaction to seeing someone being all scantily clad and whatnot.

Ooh thank you for sharing, that’s interesting. I’ve never bumped into autochorissexuality before. 🙂 If you find a word that fits better, let us know!

Very cool, that’s nice that there’s a good subcategory. Rubbish that people shut the conversation down though. >:(
